The new Xbox 360 controller features a new dpad

Maybe trying to offset the rise in Xbox Live cost (should it come to Aus)?

Hoepfully these are not for separate purchase only and will be included in future Xbox 360 console packages too. Because if I have to buy it separately when I get my new Xbox.... *shakes fist* I'll have to buy a cord so it comes back when I throw it in revolt

I'll take my arcade stick over that sucker any day. Can't beat it.

we bought two fightsticks to avoid using the xbox dpad. great, now that's less of an edge i'll have over regular controller users :P

About time! I love the feel of the xbox controller but the d-pad sucks balls. And to answer your question fluffy, it does! Having things hotkeyed to it and trying to change in the heat of battle can be extremely frustrating, especially on the diagonal, which is nearly impossible to nail quickly.
