1. GameArena is an Australian website and offers Australian servers and it's only useful traffic is Australian traffic...international people who come, get a key or mutlipe keys and then don't even play on GameArena's servers and most likely won't ever visit the site again.....

No one deserves a key. It is not your God given right to have one. You didn't get one then that's bad luck regardless of how good of a player you are in past BF games.

Learn to live with it and pre order. Then you can have a key rather than crying like a ******* 2 year old and criticising the way GA went about handing out keys. You have no right to criticise! GA can hand out keys any way they want, after all they were the guys that took the time to source the keys in the first place.

So you have a key for your mate? Then your friend will just need to download it from any of the numerous sources that will become available at 4 am tomorrow when the demo is released. Then type in his key and BANG he will be in there.

As far as steam goes, I haven't used it in a while, I would guess your mate would need to install steam, select to download the game when it becomes available at 4am and then once installed enter his key that you have given him.

Steam veterans correct me if I am wrong.

if you did get it from steam it will be in the not installed section of the my games tab (expand it if you haven't)
its currently in the "Not released state" (as mine currently sits in)
come tomorrow when its released it will change to "not installed"
you will need to initiate the installation, right click on it and have fun

If there is someone out there that has multiple keys would you mind passing one on to me? I missed out.

WTF?? is steam meant to Email the key?? For some stupid Reason I had a inactive Fastmail.fm email as my steam email. I went to Fastmail and re-activated it. didnt receive anything for first 20 minutes. Soo I changed the steam email to my regular Hotmail one. still havnt got squat!!!

Second round was when I really started to own, I started the game up again, watched it spend 2 minutes updating my stats from 0 everything to 0 everything, and then the game awesomely quit out on me as I opened the server browser! I rebooted and tried again, and it did the exact same thing again! So glad I woke up at 4 in the morning for this!

The solution to people who are crashing when accessing the server browser is to just connect using Play Now.

Of course, the game doesn't read ping correctly, meaning I only try to connect to US servers, and I am kicked for high latency :D

BF2BC2 Is a load of garbage, suddenly gaming has taken a reverse direction back to about the quality of Consoles Three years ago.

didnt get a beta key so i pre ordered off steam, can i play on the game arena beta servers with my steam client or do i need to download a unique GA version, and how do i find them, tried updating the arena application to see if they were on there and been having issues with the server browser.
