CES win: Light Touch

Heard of Light Blue Optic? We haven't either. But they have made a pretty impressive stab at stealing the CES show this year with a touch sensitive projector, the Light Touch.
The Light Touch beams a touch sensitive 10 inch picture onto any flat surface, and runs Adobe Flash Lite 3.1, meaning there's distinct gaming possibilities for savvy developers, not just social networking and productivity apps.
The Light Touch - picture says it all This kind of gizmo has been around awhile - we've previously used a 'virtual keyboard' beamed onto flat surfaces that detected keystrokes, but this is a whole different proposition. It's full color, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth enabled, has 2GB memory onboard, and a microSD slot for more. You still need a flat surface to beam it onto, but imagine a second-or-third generation version of this technology in a network gaming context. Roll up with your friends to a clean table and go to war with everyone having their own screens. 10" may not seem large, but it's a start. And if the technology gets broad play (Light Blue Optics are pushing it out to OEMs - already signed up are Adobe, CSR, Foxconn, Interbrand, Microsoft, Micron, Nichia, Opnext, Photop and Toshiba) imagine the 3D possibilities. Epic. EDIT: We dug up their presser - it's in the comments.
