The lads aren't sleeping through the launches of The Beatles: Rock Band and Guitar Hero 5- instead they give the world's most comprehensive history of music gaming - starting with Simon from the 1970s.

The wrap culminates in two things:

First - a hands-on and scrutiny of DJ Hero - complete with DMC champ DJ Blakey giving a breakdown of how the difficulty level and Benny asking the hard questions, including queryng whether the game comes with drugs and "Do we really need more douchebags pretending to be DJs?".

Second - the duo get to grips with The Beatles: Rock Band and enlist the services of John Kater, who plays "Paul" in Beatles tribute band The Beatnix to give his expert appraisal on the game and the instruments. Kater immediately gets a thumbs up because he specifically mentions "Commodore 64".

Nope, it's not the Animatrix

All musical bases are covered - even music game sceptics should check it out.

WTF? what uncultured moron considers the Beattles to be out of date, most of their songs are pretty much timeless

sadly zaraq, there seems to be a problem with it atm which affect cable users, pretty much if ure on cable u would notice ure download speed has significantly dropped in speed, and ontop of that those download will add into ure usage as metered/counted, only thing left to conclude is that cable is off the unmetered usage thing...check out whirlpool if u don't believe me.

Further inspection of Beatles Rock Band I'd like to amend my score to 9.75 out of a possible 10.

And Sullo, the next ep is looking tight. Very tight. Tighter is better. And like you said, longer is also better. Girth also plays a factor I hear.

Hmmm....I shall trust your judgement good sir. Don't let me down. Also, I am half thinking of getting RB Beatles. I have GHWT and GHMetallica, but something about being able to play Beatles crap....makes me want to get it.
