If you've been following the launch of Warhammer Online you may be aware of the issues plaguing the game's release - last week we put out some quick fixes for punters having issues with launch day woes.

Mythic appears to be aware of at least some of these errors - over the weekend they posted two separate Herald posts regarding some issues Oceanic players are having. One details exactly what occurred with Warpatch.exe - a "DVD duplication error". The second outlines some server login problems the team was working on.

After suffering the same issues as many others here at the GameArena offices we finally managed to get online - if you want to hang out with the coolest staffer on GameArena find Joaby, a Chaos Marauder on Anlec. We want to know your character name and server as well - Kreese is going Order, and I think I might need your help.

Not touching this until I see reviews, and even then I won't even consider it until it's been online for at least 2 months. Last three MMO's I've tried were utterly terrible and I'm not giving this a chance. People said Age of Conan was omgawesome, it was not. Same went for EVE Online and LOTR:O.

Eve and Conan are good games, but not awesome. I'd much rather play an awesome game over a good game any day.

Lol. all my problems were solved before I begaun my journey, thanks to the GA post about WarPatcher.exe.

The only other problem I had was stuttering/hitching, which I just put down to my meh rig. However a fix that I found somewhere really helped that, I'll try to find what it is.

*edit* Ok go into your Warhammer/user folder.

Open Usersettings.xml and look for like a group of perfgraphics settings, there should be 2, I jus changed the one I was using.

Anyways, change specular field and lighting to false, for some reason they can't be turned off in game.

Helped me alot, btw just started a Black Orc on Anlec last night, I tried my hardest to stay away from Destruction, but the Siren Song was too powerful.

Note: I am DELETING my characters on Anlec specifically to unleash bright wizard mayhem on young Joab.

And if that fails I'm logging one of my 70s and-oh that's right...not WoW.

really not sure what to choose here its a big difference in good and evil to the **** wow had for us seriously the "bad" guys were to good, and the good guys are idiots who goes and signs a treaty with you centuries old enemy to kill youre father when it was liley that her father would ahve won... stupid.

i might go chaos here marauder is looking rather fun =P
