Looks good. The setting change is the best idea ubi have had for years.

The big one I'm waiting for from Ubidays is the new Brothers In Arms. Can't wait.

Very interesting. To bad my PC/Laptop won't handle it this time. But one thing I remember about far cry was how truly beautiful some parts looked, when you climbed the top of a cliff face and just looked out. I hope they keep this sort of mind blowing visuals without insane graphic requirements in the new game.

Story sounds interesting, location is good. The idea of a fully functioning natural environment sounds good too.
Ubi can sometimes promise a lot and deliver them all, but with a crap result. I have hope for this, the game looks quite good.

looks a bit like Black Hawk Down on steroids,with side missions no alarms and hopefully no dead lines to meet. I have high hopes of great replayability

they havent yet thrown out the sort of system they are optimising it for, only general "this is what could run it.... sort of"

i know that i will need to dosh out atleast 2,000 before i can play it at more than 40FPS. which makes me cry a little :(

Looks good but I wonder about what sort of diversity there is in the environments... Africa is sort of flat and boring. I forsee a lot of sniping missions, interspersed with the occasional village to raid.

It's interesting reading the Gamespy preview, the lead writer was explaining how the storyline's going to be based around tribal factions and conflict (I think he mentioned it was based on Akira Kurosawa's Yojimbo or something like that). I guess the most important thing is that they've made this completely different to Crysis and I look forward to it.

farcry, whilst a very good game, didnt exactly blow me away storywise, wouldnt be a bad thing to sorta steer away from that a bit
