Nintendo of Australia today revealed details for their "Connection" tour across Australia. The tour highlights up and coming games and features for both the Wii and Nintendo DS.
Running in shopping centres across Australia, The tour will allow fans to compete against family and friends in some of Nintendo’s great new games. Winners from each shopping centre will go into the draw to win their very own Wii and a copy of Big Brain Academy for Wii.

Kicking off on September 22 and travelling across the country until October 14, the tour will showcase a variety of Nintendo's great products including Big Brain Academy for Wii, Super Paper Mario, Wii Sports and Boogie. In addition, there will be a special Metroid Prime 3: Corruption demonstration and other great surprises!

The Touch Generation range including Brain Training, More Brain Training, Big Brain Academy and Picross DS will also be available for people to sample as well as other brand new games! Nintendo fans will also have the opportunity to play soon to be released The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
Shame there was no mention of Super Mario Galaxy or Super Smash Bros, but alas, having Metroid Prime 3 and Zelda Phantom Hour Glass on-hand is still pretty cool. Make sure you get down to the following centres to check it out:

  • Victoria
Southland - 22 & 23 September
Fountain Gate - 24 & 25 September

  • South Australia
Marion - 29 & 30 September

  • Queensland
Chermside - 4 & 5 October
Carindale - 6 & 7 October

  • New South Wales
Charlestown - 5 & 7 October
Parramatta - 11 & 12 October
Miranda - 13 & 14 October

  • Western Australia

I'm about 10 minutes from Southland but I'm not a big fan about going to these gaming gathers so I probably won't go

How about they scrap the tour and put the funds towards getting their games out here without 6-years worth of delays.

I'll aim to be there at Carindale, always love a bit of gaming competition, although this one not quite up there as the previous tours. Still, should be entertaining none the less.
