It's no secret that Australian outfit Auran are onto something big with Fury. There's growing interest in the PVP oriented massively multipler online title, not only from role players but also from FPS junkies wanting to see the so-far mythical next step - massively multiplayer first person action. [Edit - third person actually - thanks Dan].

Time will tell if Fury is the holy grail or not, but one thing's for certain - it's looking pretty schmick. Check out the trailer on the front page (or go here - and be sure to keep checking back in coming weeks as we escalate our coverage of what could be a massive home-grown hit.

Yeah it's a bit stiff that the only place to find it is currently fileplanet, it's 2.5GB.

Also, this trailer it's a pre-rendered cinematic, which while still kinda cool, really doesn't reflect the actual game much. It's third person too, not FPS kreese.

It's an awesome game, If you just want to have the fun of killing people and not grinding for gear (Even when killing people is the grinding for gear) This is your game. I played on one of the open beta weekends and had a TON of fun they base the matches on your current skill level so if your really really bad they put you with people who are the same so there is some balance.

I've got enough quota to d/l this but it'll be highly annoying to zap 2.5GB only to have Dan go "zomfg guys we gotz permissionz".. not that Dan would be be like "zomfg guys we gotz permissionz" but he'd say something to that effect.. which would irrecoverably mean the same thing... which would highly annoy me so yeah...

Plus there Aussies, they shouldn't dog follow country men.

Well, not really. But since it's up elsewhere now and I haven't heard back, I've enabled the download. If it suddenly disappears it's because we we're asked to remove it.

Hmmm I'm on cable extreme, usually downloading at 2mb a second, but the client for some reason is only downloading at 500kb a second :(. Anyone else experiencing slow downs?

The cinematic trailer looked hopeless compared to stuff blizzard has done PREVIOUSLY and we've seen MMOFPS before ala Planetside, which sucked roundones.

Anybody playing this? I'm having a bit of fun playing as a Warden. It actually looks kinda promising, I might even buy it when it comes out, it seems alot funner than guild wars.

Yeah i dled the Beta Client. When i went into program files to start up the thing, program files just said (not responding).This happens every time i try to start up the installer.
Does any1 know whether somthing happened during the dl? Should i re-download it?
Or, is it happening to lots of people, and i have to configure the file in some way.
Can som1 plz hlp me!!
