what is the the number 1 single playing game?

Would be a bit hard to find the no.1 single player game as everything's got a single player component. You could assume that the most units of a game sold means it's the no.1 single player game. But if most of those people are playing online then you'd have to find some other way to find that out.

Either way i'll be getting this on the 360.

I reckon MS will release it in a years time for PC, but only for windows vista. They want people to buy a xbox360 now, and they want people to buy Vista later.

james, xbox live is single player and multiplayer, it could have three multiplayer games played in an entire month and still make it to number one if 1 million people are playing single player.

if you have xbox live it's always on when the x360 is, so all games played are ranked, even a demo disk from a games mag, marketplace demoes crack the top ten all the time.

and oblivion has been on there pretty much since launch.

back on topic though, i agree with emonke, any pc friendly shooter microsoft has a hand in will get ported to pc.

Its one of the first games to use U3 Engine..funny enuf at E3 They had this game running on PC on 6800Ultra SLI butter smooth at very high ress..

1 million copies sold. Given the (relatively) small user base of Xbox360 at this stage of its lifecycle that is pretty damn impressive.

There was this game released on Steam..Robot something..it is U3 Engine..but it is a badly done game -.-

roboblitz is the first game to use unreal 3, it's not designed for pc's so i don't know why it shipped there at all.

it was designed for xbox live arcade, thus why the entire game is sub 50MB, it uses procedural texture generation, a physics driven animation system, basicly the game itself is nothing but a logic and graphics engine. i really want that game to ship on xbox, i'm sick of retro titles.

well if there is a good game, of course you want it on your chosen platform. If you have the money to buy all gaming platforms then all power to you, but there aren't too many of those people around (relatively).

As much as I'd love to have a 360 (and a big TV) and GoW, I'll just have to settle for PC.

Trust me, by the time GoW comes to PC there's going to be much better stuff around (ie Crysis and Bioshock)

by the time GoW hits pc's there will be dozens of big titles for both platforms that are better. i'd be seriously concerned for pc gaming if anything else was true.

GoW is good, but it's not the gamers valhalla, better games will come.

half-right. Consoles have their place as do PC's.

I dont like playing FPS on conosles. So I am always gonna have a PC. Consoles are good for driving games and other stuff like that but not FPS.

That is all personal preference. I personally cannot stand dual analogue controls, yet a keyboard and mouse i find simple. Wii controls are yet to be experienced.

Before this GoW was release I was feeling a little down about my xbox360, but now all my fears have been quashed! This looks & plays like a dream. GoW was to be Microsoft's big punch this xmas before the PS3 gets released & I think they nailed it. If this is the new standard I can't wait to see what they deal out for Halo3.
