The holidays are over and the Newsletter is back - we get into Jenga on the DS, look at the Metal Gear Solid 4 rumours and remind you that you have to enter soon if you want to win one of 1000 copies of Fury!

Better than a kick in the...
We're still running our Fury giveaway - we have 1000 copies on hand, to win a boxed copy of the game for yourself, all you have to do is answer the easy question - "In 25 words or less, what fantasy power would you like to wield in game?" - The top 1000 answers will get a copy for free, so enter today!

Speaking of competitions, stay tuned because in the coming weeks we're holding a Crysis challenge - a free-for-all competition where the top 8 finalists will be heading off to Singapore!

Lifelike? Yes. Innovative? No
EA Sports and former Xbox executive Peter Moore stirred up some controversy recently with his revelation about EA Sports driving innovation. GameArena thought he might have been a little misguided.

Far Cry 2 will be making its way onto Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles after Ubisoft announced its plans to take the first person shooter multiplatform. At this stage there isn't heaps in the way of details about the game - we know the game will be set in Africa, and Ubisoft has stated it will be out in the 2008 - 2009 fiscal year - so late this year, early next. Stay tuned, GameArena will bring you all the updates as they happen.

Old Snake is not amused
Metal Gear Solid 4 is staying a PlayStation 3 exclusive for now according to statements from Konami reps worldwide. The exclusivity of the game was in question earlier this week when an Xbox fan site claimed it had a reliable source that would see the game on the Xbox 360 mid 2009. If it does get a Xbox 360 development team, you'll be sure to hear it from us... When it's confirmed.

The Nintendo DS - Nintendo's dual screen Gameboy replacement - has outsold the best selling games console of all time, the PlayStation 2. At least, it has in Japan.
