Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, the highly anticipated PlayStation 3 title from Kojima Productions, is set for release in the second quarter of 2008 according to a press release from Konami.
Konami released a statement saying they have "decided to delay the title's release in order to make further improvements to the quality of the game and provide even greater enjoyment for more customers worldwide." Previously Konami denied the possibility of a demo on the PlayStation Network, however this was before the release date for the title slipped so there is a chance a playable demo might come to the PSN before the game ships.
Square Enix has announced the release of both Final Fantasy 1 and Final Fantasy 2 in all PAL territories come early next year for the PSP. The release will see both classic NES games in all their high resolution 2D glory.
