Halo 3
Microsoft kicked off the big E3 happenings this year with the first of the big pre-show conferences, hiring out a school to give us a lesson on what's happening with Xbox 360 and PC this year. Can MS deliver gamers from temptation in the form of Wii and PS3 - draw your own conclusions in our written wrap-up and check out Andy's day one clip for our exclusive video footage.

Infinity Ward and Activision have announced that they're going to be running a multiplayer beta for the Xbox 360 version of the upcoming Call of Duty 4. Currently only scheduled for Xbox 360 owners, the event will run through Xbox LIVE presumably in a similar fashion to the recent Halo 3 beta, Activision noting that "players will get to experience the party system and join in progress for matchmaking that's as quick and fluid as the gameplay. Delivering innovations, including create a class, player ranking and the new perk system".

The beta will be running through August. The big question on everyone's lips is whether or not we'll see something similar on the PC...

Of course We couldn't mention Xbox 360 at E3 without a look at the flagship title, Halo 3. Kreese was on the scene for Microsoft's press showing of the Halo 3 campaign mode and has the low-down for us right here.

Killzone 2
Just like Microsoft and Nintendo, Sony has also had their turn to captivate the industry with their vision of the future of gaming. And just like the other two, this time they haven't really delivered any major surprises. If there is a "winner" at this year's E3, it's going to be a software, not hardware publisher. Find out why in our on-scene coverage of Sony's pre-show conference.

Think that Microsoft and Halo 3 are going to have it all their own way this holiday season? The PlayStation camp doesnt and with several big hitters in the bag they're not going down without a fight. One such title is much talked about Killzone 2. GameArena was on-site for Sony's midnight showing of the PlayStation 3 exclusive action title. Take a look and give your thoughts.

Another big player in Sony's corner has similarly come through with the goods - Atari now having released the official E3 07 trailer for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, perhaps the most anticipated forthcoming PlayStation 3 title of them all. Don't miss this one right here in our video library.

F-22 Lightning 3
Spending trillions of dollars on developing your own high tech flight gear is beyond the means of most of us, so budding combat pilots more often sit in the computer chair rather than the cockpit. There's no need to fly any old airbus, however - try the F22 Lightning on for size.

In F22 Lightning 3 you get to tour the world - and get into some of the most realistic air-to-air and air-to-ground battles seen on the small screen. You don't to spend every second mastering the controls to have a blast in this action packed flier, and well worth the time of more dextrous players to take a long look at.
