1.1 I have forgotten my password! How do I find out what it is?
We can't tell you your password - it is encrypted for security purposes. You can reset your password by clicking here.

Performing this function will send a new password to the email address associated with your GameArena account. If you no longer use the email address that you signed up your account with, the only solution is to create a new account.
1.2 Downloading from GameArena is unmetered. Why is it showing up on my download meter?
If you are having issues with the AUP, you will need to contact your ISP for more information - GameArena is a totally separate department.
1.3 Every time I go to a new page I get logged out, why?
Try this:

1) Close all your browsers, and reopen one browser window.
2) Close The Arena if it is open
3) Go to http://www.gamearena.com.au/account/clearcookie.php in your browser.
4) Press refresh several times until it just says, "Your GameArena cookies have been deleted."
5) Close that browser
6) Reopen the browser and try to log in again.
1.4 My email address is already in use - how come?
If you've tried to create an account in the past and forgotten about it, or someone else had an old email address that you're now using (generic addresses like david@domain.com sometimes go through several users!), you can simply resend the password for the account associated with that email address here and reset the details as required.
1.5 I can't login to the GameArena website!
In almost all cases, users experiencing problems logging in (that is, getting a 'login failed' error message when they try to log in) are entering either the wrong username or the wrong password. It is very important to note that the username and password are case sensitive - you'll need to enter them exactly as they appear on your new account email. If you continue having problems, try resetting your password.
1.6 Why am I banned?
Generally speaking, if you're banned, it means you broke one of the GameArena Terms and Conditions. These conditions (available here) detail the rules and regulations that are in place for using the GameArena service. GameArena members are expected to be aware of these rules at all time when using any of the services that are in place across GameArena!
1.7 How do I get unbanned?
If you have been banned, you can request an unban by filling out an Unban Request. Please note that all unban requests are actioned, but it may take a while before someone can investigate your request. As a result, it is very important to ensure that you have filled out the details completely and accurately.
