In reference to the QVM, it should work. It seems that rebound had TJW's qvm implemented, which must have had some bugs which made the server vulnerable. Kaleo suggested using Paradox's and Google's qvm in another thread, and someone said Paradox has joined the dev team. If so, it would be great to be able to get this implemented.

That being said, I think that Bigpond's regulations might be stricter then that. I think rebound might have campaigned using the argument that we currently run TJW's modded server, so it stands to reason that we can use TJW's qvm. It might be hard to get Paradox's qvm implemented, because it looks as if GameArena's policies stand really firm for this sort of thing (perhaps because the other people who made this QVM are not official members of the dev team, it won't be so easy to get it implemented). Rebound did the best he could given the situation he was in (basically he was being pushed up against the wall of GA regulations by the Trem community).

P.S - Please don't take this as my be all and end all comments, I may be completely wrong about everything, I am NOT so highly informed that I can pass any of this off as fact. It's just my \$0.02

Back on topic, did somebody implement a new QVM? If so, will this prevent the cycling? Or is it just the old one thats a little tinkered. I noticed things such as the hp being displayed after deaths, and that GUID's are gone again. I don't really mind about the GUID's so long as the cycling stops, players are generally pretty good at picking up on hackers and deconners.

pls do, tremulous is getting very popular with 3-4 servers going at any one time. they may not nessasarily be full nor in australia but does that matter! no! i say give us 10 ppl what we want, nay, what we need.
