Is it possible to disable the player vote kick facility from GA public servers?

Players who are obviously waiting for friends to join are abusing the kick system and booting people for no valid reason. This is very frustrating seeing as how it is a publicly available server and not a private one.

It seems asking someone to leave is too difficult

Tell me about it but its not new games its games in progress as well, groups of foreigners hijack the GA severs and play there own private games on a GA public server they kick anyone out who tries to join.

Just got vote kicked off 203.46.105.62:21700 as soon as i joined for no reason, now i am pretty sure thats a violation of GA T&C?

Would a nice Admin kindly ban the ppl responsible or disable the kick feature

No can do, in any other case we'd disable it because players having any sort of administrator-like powers is no go, but the entire enjoyment of the game is hinged around being able to remove problematic teammates ASAP. Unfortunately with anything so readily accessed, it's occasionally abused as much as we all hate it.

What you can do however is use http://play4dead.com to quickly get you into a new game. That's the only option aside from joining the GameArena Steam community that "we" can give you.

Bummer that nothing can be done, but c'est la vie.

I took your suggestions and joined GA steam community, and am also using play4dead with much success, so thankyou.

I have submitted a couple of 'test case' incident reports as I believe this action is a breach of the T&C's, at least by my interpretation, but I don't know if any action has been taken. If it's not a breach please let me know and I'll stop putting in reports.
