What will not be tolerated on GameArena DoD:Source Servers

1. Racial/Sexual/Offensive Language or abuse.
2. Continual tking, team wounding, tk team downs.

We've reached a point where the FF+ server on GameArena is becoming populated and frequented by regular tards. I've reached a point where I am implementing a 3-Strike policy on this server.

If you are caught DELIBERATELY TKING, TEAM-WOUNDING (IN SPAWN OR NOT) or being a general TK'ing tard. You will be banned for 1wk. If you are reported a second time, you will be banned for 2wks. If you are reported a 3rd time, you will be PERMANENTLY BANNED.

We are no longer, going to take a light stance on the same people coming into that server and ruining it for everyone. So here is your warning, stop.

3. Entering the opposing teams spawn (regardless of whether your team has won or not). This should now be fixed with the invisible walls, but just in case there is some way of getting in there.
4. Blocking spawn exits or entries (i.e doorways/corridors etc.)
5. Map exploiting, DO NOT exploit areas of the map which were not designed to be used. If you are unsure of an area please ask me.

These are just some. Obviously hacking in any form will not be accepted either. We endevour to keep our servers clean of the minority of morons that feel the need to cheat/interrupt play/abuse. If you have any questions regarding behaviour in-game or any aspect mentioned above please ask, and I will help.

Incident Reports:

They are fairly straight forward and will help us get rid of the morons on our servers. All that you need to do is go here OR go to the Site Index page at the top of the GameArena Website and select Incident Report.

Then you will be required to fill out a form in regards to what happened on the server you were playing on with details:

1. Enter the Offender's Nickname(s)
2. Fill out the approximate time that this occured at
3. Be sure to enter in which server this happened on. (IT NEEDS TO BE A GA SERVER)
4. Enter their offending player's steamid(s) (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!)
5. Fill out an explanation as to why you are sending in the incident report. What took place on the server, why you believe they should be banned etc.
6. Finally, you must send in evidence as to why they should be banned or to backup any statements you have made. If you believe that someone is cheating or exploiting a demo will be required. Also screenshots of their steamid in console is a must to prove that it is indeed that person. You may also do a status in console if you do not know how to take a screenshot.

Thats all that needs to be done, you should then receive an email from myself or one of the other DoD GameOps, that will let you know of the outcome of the incident report.

instead of us having to ask u personally what/where an exploit is, can u please tell us (the whole community) where the exploits are (in your opinion) and in which maps so we can all know? thankyou

I think telling peeps how to exploit is a STUPID idea... You going to get a whole bunch of tards jumping on the server after they have read about it and trying them out.

I just don't see the need for a +FF server if this is a growing problem. On a +FF server you have to expect the occasional grenade or a bullet to the head from your own team members and yes you will get people who TK and wound deliberately I say tackle it from the root and remove the +FF...it doesn't serve no fundamental purpose and the only people who would really suffer from this course of action are the people who deliberately do this. Just a thought, feel free to comment

1.6 Entering Results

After your match has been completed, team captains are required to enter the scores of the match and/or mark a team as forfeiting. This has to be done by both of the competing teams, failure to enter results will mean that you have automatically forfeited the match. The window for entering results opens as soon as the match is scheduled to go up, and will stay open for a window of 4hrs, meaning that 4hrs from the commencement of the match, you will be able to enter in your scores. All matches will then be processed by GameArena at 4am, this is where rankings will be changed, and if needed protection/vulnerability status applied.

Forfeits will be awarded, but not limited to areas of:
# Cheating;
# Not entering Results;
# Abusive behaviour or misconduct on the Ladder server;
# Slutting/Smurfing;
# Exploiting; and,
# Entering into frivilous disputes.

In other cases the recording of a forfeit will remain within the boundaries of a GameArena GameOp's discretion. In which case the team captains will be notified by email as to the outcome. In all forfeits, the team is penalised a set amount of positions on the Ladder, in most cases 5% of the total ladder rungs.

When a team does not respond to a challenge, they will also be forfeited after 48hours of not responding. Successive lack of responses will result in further forfeits and eventual removal from the ladder altogether.
