Forza 1 was great 2 was great and 3 well i am sure it will be great 2.

If i had a 360, it would be on the top of my list. Alas, i dont but i have a ps3, to GT5 is what ill get.

Forza 3 is looking really good (physics, tyre deformation), with visuals finally to match!

Is this game anygood? Like up to GT styles?

IMO it looks much better than GT.

The GT games have never held my interest, whereas Forza 2 got lots of play from me.

All personal taste I guess.

While I have played about a grand total of 2 mins of GT in my life thus far and a couple of months of Forza, I assume it is pretty well the same game, one with an X-Box logo, the other with a Sony logo.

For those who were unaware, the forza 3 demo is up on XBL. One track with 1 different car in each class. 1.2gb.

I think it looks great. 60fps, over 400 cars each with the exact interior and dash. Sound is great. I can't wait for the full game. Out next month. I hope I find a job soon so I can pick this up.

Downloaded the demo and found it pretty awesome. I already have the collectors edition on preorder though

I've been playing the demo since it came out, pretty impressed with the new physics and gfx, although the demo is pretty bare.. some challenges or at least some customizability (at least suspension settings etc if not upgrades) would have gone a long way.. not to mention online play!

So yeah. It's finally out. It is beautiful. Plays awesome. My only gripe:

Why the hell does it take so long to load the races? The tracks are pretty much the same on Forza 2 and they took half the time to load, and forza 3 installs some bits and peices on the HDD.

Anyhoo, what do you think?

Agreed - not any diff installing the whole thing on HDD vs streaming off dvd either that I can tell.

Obviously some weird **** is going on with how they have sorted out data access - it takes roughly the same time to load the entire Nurburgring track as it does to load one segment of it.

The game is ace though. Play that auction house and don't be suckered into spending a **** of money on the Toll Holden V8 - they're everywhere.

Do those V8 supercars handle that badly because they are australian cars, or do they really handle like that in the real world?

I hesitate to slag off Turn 10 because they're huge autosport nerds who are fanatical racers in their spare time... but it does seem odd that certain hunks of crappy american muscle handle better than a V8 Supercar... so yes (IMO).

All i know is the sound of the shelby 1967 gt500 sounds sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good handles like **** but who cares the car and engine worth it. drove the holden once and was like okay thanks hopefully there not needed in the career

While not having the played the game, I will say this:

A 700rwkw 1200kg family car will handle like nothing else on the road. Sometime people confuse 'different' with 'bad'

More like 700bhp at the fly, because what you stated is almost the same power as a Bugatti Veyron.

700kw is around 938bhp sooo thats a bit overkill i would say.

anyway, my biggest problem with it is the fact while driving in **** view, he doesnt change gears? it's the only thing stopping me from playing in the new view =[ i cant stand it!! at first i thought it might have been while playing in auto. but its the same in manual and manual with clutch =[ (i also hate the position of the clutch button, it hinders me while down shifting).

other than that, awesome game!!

used the rewind if i **** a corner, great fun, made for a nice replay.

Considering its only the shell that represents the brand, your statement is incorrect.

It's actually just the chassis in the case of the VE, the wheel base is too long so it has to shortened for the season, which is why you still see VZ's being run.
