AA3 in its current state has loads of bugs but you can help by not playing the game via STEAM or DEPLOY. The game is stand alone so you can execute the application from the directory it's installed in;
Steam
Steam\steamapps\common\america's army 3\Binaries\AA3Game.exe
Send to desktop (shortcut) the .exe file and run that without being in steam. Steam btw is a resource hog so it will affect your performance.
Deploy
\america's army 3\Binaries\AA3Game.exe
The game, as you can see has a standard file structure. Simply navigate to the Binaries directory(folder) and send to desktop (shortcut) the .exe file.
Pimpin tha ride, fixin da freeze
X:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "runhigh" /high "X:\america's army 3\Binaries\AA3Game.exe"
Copy the above to the target of the icon properties. There are two X designating the drive, change those to where they are located. My system has C for operating system and F for where the game directory is. Running the game in high memory should cure your freeze problems. You can include affinities for multicore systems but that isn't really necessary.
