GameArena is happy to announce that we are now testing some official America's Army Honour servers. From the official site:
Quote:
Honor forms the basis of America's Army's unique scoring system. It is modeled after the Army values (Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless-Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage or LeaDeRSHIP). This forms the basis of the rewards system in the game.

As your character progresses throughout the game, Honor increases and decreases based upon his actions and performance. Your Honor increases for choosing to be a leader during the match (squad leader, team leader), successfully accomplishing your team's goals or objectives, winning a mission, and avoiding ROE (Rules of Engagement) violations.
America's Army is a completely free game that you can download right here on GameArena. For more information and discussion on this new feature, please check out this thread in the America's Army messageboard.

Update: The Honour upgrade has apparently caused some problems; we've contacted the support team for the Honour system and we're awaiting their reply. Apologies about the inconvenience.

Update #2: It looks like we're getting somewhere now - our test server (GameArena ArmyOps #1) is now working correctly!

Olpol you need to get out a bit - BF2 copied AA (which in all honesty probably copied other games also).

Americas Army is developed by the American Army so they have the inside running on all aspects on gun physics, player motion, and Honor (they kept away from rankings and awards and came up with Honor instead).

AA has been out for over three years now - how long do you think BF2 has been out?

Lol you're telling me this newly introduced honour system isn't a copy of the awards/ranks system in bf2? lol ok.

And how did bf2 copy AA? They didn't.

Furthermore, simply being developed by the american army doesn't mean anything special.

AA was a decent enough filler game, but I played it for a while but then got banned a few years ago by some silly little gameop child called lonewolf or sniperwolf or lonesniper or something stupid like that because I killed him a few times.
GG.

Opol this "newly" introduced honour system for AA has been around for like 3 years now... it is only new for us Australians to host honour servers whereas before it had to be hosted in the USA. More to the point BF2 hasn't copied AA (and vice versa), they are two completly different scoring systems.
