What the heck is going on? Just saw this news, it was posted on Kotaku & doesn't appear to be fanboys spreading FUD.....I actually went to the EB site (http://ebgames.com.au/xbox/home.cfm) & selected the 360 pro Forza bundle but after entering several different postcodes they all appear sold out just as the article claimed:

EB Games Australia have issued a recall on their Xbox 360s. Not just their own personal display or demo units. Every single Premium Xbox 360 they had in-stock. Sources within the company have confirmed that two weeks ago (approx June 29) store managers were first asked by Head Office to test every single unit in stock for errors, but were then ordered last week to return their entire inventories of the console, as well as remove all 360 promotional material and dummy boxes from their stores. The recall is believed to be due to a faulty batch of HDDs, as it did not include Core units.

To be fair this could easily happen to Sony but man is it bad timing or what on top off MSs admission concerning the RROD. Whats also going on with removing all the promotional materials? You'd think they just leave it up until the units are replaced. Couldn't have come at a worse time for MS especially after Sony put in such a strong showing at E3.

BTW: I should also mention that my favourite PS3 game is Lair, no wait make that HS, hang on how bout KZ2....Can't make my mind up. There, that should validate this thread (in the console games forum).

I prefered games like Halo 3, Halo Wars, Mass Effect, Fable 2 and Bio Shock. Cant make my mind up! And so many awesome Xbox live arcade games coming out! The choice is just so easy, dont you think?

How was it misleading? I've fixed the title to reflect that it was ALL PRO consoles in stock......There was nothing I could say to sensationalize that storey - the headline says it all. ALL 360 pro consoles withdrawn & all advertising removed......
