Have noticed a few people unsure of how exactly the funstuff stuff works, so here's a bit more elaborated guide.

List of models: http://ahgw.org/funstuff.html

Console commands/examples:
/funblue /funred - Depending on which team you are on.
/funblue default - Resets you character to the default Fun Stuff of nothing.
/funred "Diablo" - Diablo horns on any red character.
/funred "jason, mohwkbk" - Jason mask with a Black Mohawk on the red character Rafiq.

/funblue "piratehat, gasmask, ponybl" - Pirate Hat, Gas Mask and a Blue Ponytail Ribbon on the blue character Adala

/bind x funblue "piratehat, gasmask, ponybl" - Pretty self explanatory, but this will bind that string to button x, making it quick and easy to change between multiple sets of outfits by binding multiple sets to multiple keys.

You can only use certain models on certain teams/character models. While some models can be used with a Helmet or NVG's on (e.g. Cigar), a lot of them can't and has been confirmed by the dev's to be intentional this way.

Q: How can I see what I have on?

A: Well, there are essentially 3 (4 if it works) ways of doing this.

1) Randomly put on items and spam in /say "zomg what hat do I have on!!!11!!?" which gets really annoying to anyone on your team that is actually trying to play.

or

2) Open 2 Urban Terror's on your computer (or a secondary computer), start a closed server on one, join on the other. I would recommend CTF on DressingRoom as this has no time limit on the smallest map.

If you are doing this on one computer, there's one important thing I should point out. When you open the first Urban Terror and create the server, make sure that you alt+enter to bring the game out into a window. If you don't do this, each time that you alt+tab between the 2 instances of Urban Terror, the game has to re-render itself. Once the first instance of Urban Terror is windowed and the server set-up, go ahead and open the 2nd Urban Terror (remember to window it) and connect to your server (run by the first instance of Urban Terror).

Now, some might say this will kill a computer. Bollocks. My 64 3200 with 1gb of DDR400 manages this task with detail on full, web browsing and doing some 3d rendering at the same time, Quake 3 is one of the least taxing engines around.

3) Start/join a server with cheats enabled and go 3rd person view.

4) DressingRoom has a mirror in the spawn room. (*NOTE* Doesn't work for everyone for some reason).

There is a command that stops it from re-rendering itself as you put it. I can't remember what that command is though...this is the point where someone who knows comes in and lets us all know...

Mirrors don't work if you are using ioUrbanTerror. Should be fixed in 4.1 and hoping they release that fairly soon.

Works for me in ioUrbanTerror Is, don't know why, think it may be a display drivers option, cause I f'd with mine pretty heavily to get more FPS, then I noticed the mirror was working, may try to find what the option that killed it is.
