3. Technical Notes
------------------

To ensure trouble-free operation and optimum performance, check to make sure that your video card and sound card have the latest drivers installed. Visit the manufacturer’s web site to find out about updates.

When you install the game, the version of DirectX on your computer may be upgraded to version 8.1b. In this case, you will be asked to reboot your computer once installation is complete. Installation of DirectX 8.1b is recommended to play Syberia 2.

4. Saved Game Directory
-----------------------

The "Syberia 2 Demo Saves" directory contains saved games (.SAV files) and game options (the Config.dat file). In Windows 98 and ME, "Syberia 2 Demo Saves" is located in the game's installation directory.

In Windows 2000 and XP each user has his or her own "My Documents" folder. The directory is located in the user's "My Documents" folder. Consequently, in Windows 2000 and XP, each user will only see his or her own saved games.
